MDMC Hong Kong - Charity Toy Run 2007
Mad Dog Motorcycle Club Hong Kong Chapter 2007 Poker Run - 11:00, Sunday December 9th, Granville Square/Tsim Sha Tsu
On Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, Mad Dog Motorcycle Club Philippines will be the major supporters of a day-long outdoor picnic to mark the 14th anniversary of the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital Pedia Oncology Support Group.
The support group consists of some 75 kids with cancer and their parents / caregivers, organized by the Medical Social Service of the hospital which has social workers who help them out with their needs. MDMC Philippines have been working with them starting this year. Through the Mad Dog’s Special Projects Committee a golf tournament was organized earlier in 2007 with the funds raised going for drugs needed by the kids, mostly for chemotherapy.
For the Friday event, we have received assistance from various Brothers as well as corporate and individual friends to make this a memorable day for the kids.
The event will be held at the Makati Park on J.P. Rizal Avenue on the other side of the Guadalupe bridge after the old Fort Bonifacio gate near the University of Makati.
As of mid-September 2007 the Mad Dog Motorcycle Club Philippines Clubhouse is located at

MDMC attends UK Bulldog Bash 2007
On Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th August the 21st Annual Bulldog Bash now considered easily to be the biggest biker party in Europe.
Probably at least 30,000 but probably more like 50,000 bikers and families of all ages from toddlers to grand-parents attended in a gorgeous Warwickshire (Shakespeare’s county) in surprisingly hot sunshine.
Basically if anyone wanted to, you could race your own bike and get an official timing/speed/
In addition to this we had live bands playing on 2 separate stages, a rave tent, loads of fairground attractions, and loads of side-stalls selling all manner of bike parts and paraphernalia, clothing, food, etc.
For MDMC in attendance was Brocli, Spankit (MDMC Philippines), Parky (MDMC Thailand) and Tom ‘Tucker’ (MDMC Thailand - Prospect).
I got there early on Thursday and met up with some of Lee’s mates and pitched my tent, followed by Lee on Friday with his tent, and the Thai Chapter guys on Saturday.
Thursday night was reasonably relaxed as most things finished up at 1am but oh was Friday different.
Me and the lads started early morning on the beer and cider and was well oiled by the time Brocli arrived. We had managed to watch the Jet car which, apart from incredibly noisy, was a glorious demonstration of how to use a Sikorsky jet engine to even better use. The Jet bike was also impressive at 10,000 bhp burning 4 gallons to the ¼, i.e. 16 gallons to the mile, yee hah!
Friday was spent checking out all the stalls, and custom bike show which some lovely chopped bikes.
The main event of Friday was Status Quo playing live (which was just brilliant) and we settled down for the evening with our jackets and some Tanduay rum and cups of cocoa, ha ha, believe what you like!
We also had a visit to the Adult Entertainment tent which was expectedly tame for our normal standards but still a fun diversion.
Actually I finished up at 5am I think and was not a playful person for most of Saturday.
On Saturday, Parky came along by lunchtime and we joined him at the track watching the racing, drinking and soaking up the sun. Tom turned up soon afterwards and Brocli, myself and the other lads tried to struggle through the day.
Late 70’s punk band The Damned headlined the Saturday acts but whilst they were exuberant, I don’t think our hearts (or any other parts of our bodies) were up to much jumping around.
We wandered off amongst the stalls and by the time the fireworks came on, we were quite ready to collapse back at the tents. The fireworks were incredible, at least 15 minutes of non-stop pyrotechnics.
Sunday morning I was up early and ready to eat and have a coffee and packed up the tent. The others followed sometime afterwards and everyone got home safely, knackered, but full of renewed brotherhood.
