2009 QMM Ride - Legaspi City, Albay Province 1,100 Kilometers for all
those in Manila and for those out here in the province 1,537 Kilometers the
Subic guys but what a great time.
Take off from Manila was at the usual 530am and the rain poured down to get the
ride going. We got down to the Petron SLEX and gathered the rest of the riders .
From there to Legazpi no more rain and beautiful travel. Roads were good most of
the way with only a stretch of around 100 Kilometers of cracked up cement that
slowed us down a bit.
The first night around the pool at the hotel was very relaxing. Great Fellowship
and many world problems talked about but as usual never solved. He He He!!!
Day 2 Saturday we did a short ride to Costa Palemera Resort down on the Beach
and had a good breakfast but no comparison to the one the morning before.
Scouted out a few other places and ended up setting up the meeting QMM at one of
those places. Rained really hard during the meeting and a really intense
thunder storm went on. Rode to the meeting and home in the dry. We were lucky
again there.
Another night around the pool and great fellowship and BS was shared by all.
530am take off Sunday and back to home we went. Again no major break downs amd
all returned safe.
Thanks to all for a great ride and a wonderful, eventful, and enjoyable QMM.

2009 Unity Ride for the Environment
These are some pictures from the 8th May 2009 Unity Ride for the Environment , which in itself is not totally environmentally friendly but it raised much needed awareness, and most importantly this was compensated for by planting thousands of trees during the event Organizers state that over 4,000 bikes and scoots took part in the event. They closed one lane on EDSA for the bikes and 2 lanes on the Northern Expressway. All in all a very well organized event.
